At Nutrition Prescription we understand that your health is important, however accessing accredited practising dietitian services that allow you to take control of your nutritional issue(s) can be costly that's why we have positioned our prices lower and our quality higher than our competitors. We also offer additional discounts and will make sure you get the most out of each and every consult with your dietitian.

We are also flexible with the delivery of our service and provide the choice of face to face, video chat, home visits, as well as telephone, online or email consultations for your convenience.

Government Rebates

Medicare

We bulk bill! You will need to bring your doctor's referral, the Chronic Disease Management plan and your Medicare card with you on the day of your first consultation with your dietitian.
As a Medicare client, you will receive high quality consultations and will not be required to pay for this service at Nutrition Prescription.

New consultations are up to 60 minutes long, follow up consultations are up to 30 minutes long.

Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA)

If you are a Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) card holder the cost of your consultations are met by DVA, you will need to bring a written referral (D904) from your doctor or specialist on the day of your first consultation.

Private Consultations

Individual consultations

Initial consultations of 60 minutes $85 

Review consultations of 30 minutes $65

Home visits incur an additional fee of $45 per consultation.


Concessions

A 10% discount is available for pensioners, health care card holders and students - proof of concession is required. Concessions cannot be redeemed on promotional offers.


Packages

Packages are inclusive of all handouts, your personalised diet with all amendments & correspondence outside of consultation times.


  • Refresh Package: suitable for individuals who have a goal to achieve within a 3 month period such as a weight goal for an upcoming special event or holiday– 4 consultations for $209 


  • Nourish Package: recommended for individuals who have set a mid term goal within a 6 month period, this package is best suited to individuals with simple health problems and bridal parties – 7 consultations for $389 


  • Total Wellness Package: suitable for individuals who have set long term goals over a 12 month period such as bridal parties and complex health problems – 13 consultations for $695


Package prices can be discounted for a further 10% for groups of 3 people or more purchasing together, bridal parties, local workplaces and mothers groups.

All private consultations and packages can also be purchased as gift vouchers!


Private Health Funds

If applicable, you might be entitled to claim all or part of your dietetic consultation fees through your private health fund. The particular rebate and levels of cover vary between health funds - it’s best to contact your provider for details.

Cancellation Policy

We will contact you to confirm your appointment the day before you’re due to visit us. Please note that if you cancel or miss your appointment after it has been confirmed, a cancellation fee of 25% of the full consultation fee will be charged.
